Purpose & Scope

This system provides a robust and transparent solution for managing race schedules and publishing results at the FOWC. Designed to support the full scale of the event, it ensures efficient scheduling, real-time result tracking, and seamless public visibility throughout the competition.

Key Objectives:

Generate race schedules for Round Robin and Double Elimination formats

Publish live and preliminary results to a public-facing website

Provide admin workflows for result entry, heat tracking, and division assignment

Display live running orders and team rankings

Provide team and race information to the live streaming system so the public can see which teams are racing

Test Data Generation:

Synthetic data for clubs, teams, and dogs will be generated based on finalized registration data from the organizing NCO

This ensures realistic simulation of team compositions, dog profiles, and captain assignments for testing and preview routes

Out of Scope:

Registration workflows and entry form processing

Dog and handler data collection (handled by the organizing NCO)
